We offer Legal Department flexible plans tailored to the region where your startup operates and the level of support you need. You can choose between two credit packages, Essential or Plus, in your region:

FAQ
The Legal Department operates as an in-house legal team, supporting your startup in the daily management of its legal matters. Communication is direct and fluid through a Slack or WhatsApp group, connecting the Lawi team with your startup’s key departments to ensure agile and frictionless coordination.
It includes, among others:
- Commercial legal advice on corporate structuring and financing.
- Drafting and reviewing of general contracts (founders’ agreements, service contracts, partnerships, intellectual property, employment, investment, etc.).
- Preparation and updating of Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies.
- Assistance to product, operations, and marketing teams with day-to-day legal matters.
- Legal review of UX, disclaimers, and regulatory compliance for launching financial or tech products.
- Contractual implementation of local regulatory changes, legal impact analysis, and data privacy compliance.
- Coordination of judicial proceedings (consumer defense, labor, etc.) with external law firms.
The Legal Department for Startups does not include services involving the filing or management of administrative or judicial proceedings before public authorities. Such matters can be quoted and hired separately.
Credits are counted as follows, depending on the plan:
- Americas Plan: 1 credit equals 60 minutes of legal support in Latin American countries, or 40 minutes of legal support in the United States.
- Europe Plan: 1 credit equals 60 minutes of legal support in European Union countries, or 40 minutes of legal support in the United Kingdom.
- Global Plan: 1 credit equals 240 minutes of legal support in Latin American countries, or 80 minutes of legal support in the United States, or 60 minutes in European Union countries, or 40 minutes in the United Kingdom.
Minutes exceeding the plan’s credits will be charged as additional credits and invoiced bimonthly, together with a detailed report of credits used during that period. The value of each additional credit depends on the region of the contracted plan: in the Americas Region, USD 80.00; in the Europe Region, EUR 135.00; in the Global Region, USD 160.00. The client is informed before reaching the monthly credit limit.
Unused monthly credits can be accumulated and offset within the corresponding two-month period (i.e., they may be used in the previous or following month within the same bimonthly cycle, as applicable).
The Legal Department for Startups service is contracted for an indefinite term. Either the client or Lawi must provide at least 30 (thirty) days’ prior notice to terminate the service. In all cases, a minimum service term of 6 (six) months must be observed.
